Tried a two-toned look for her. Started to think that showing all that armor ‘plating’ would lead to martial-artist/killers/baddies to SEEK out weak areas in them and exploit them. So less obvious plating, more sleek-ish. No yellow boots, don’t know why, but seemed right at this moment.
Much better than the current nightmare with bats EVERYWHERE IN CASE WE DIDN’T KNOW IT’S BATGIRL.
When an artist makes Power Girl’s boobs smaller or covers them up, they are saying that there is something wrong with Power Girl’s boobs. They’re too big, too on display, too present.
There is NOTHING wrong with Power Girl’s boobs.
They are NOT too big.
They are NOT displayed too much.
They are NOT present too much.
Her fictional boobs are FINE, NORMAL, and PERFECTLY OK.
Peej isn’t someone to hide her chest. Yeah she’s got a boob window, SO FUCKING WHAT. She isn’t ashamed of her body. Who gives a fuck if she has bountiful cleavage? Peej has cleavage because SHE LIKES IT.
I’m a busty gal. One of the reasons I love Peej is because she has my boobs. The big, not hide-able orbs of power. So yes, when people cover up Peej, it reminds me of all the times I’ve been told to cover up and ‘look decent.
Fuck that.
Now unrealistic boobs that defy physics is a completely different matter.

Recently I’ve REALLY been attracted to Sinestro (not in that way [okay, maybe in that way]). I’ve never been a GL reader before, so what better way than to start with the New 52 universe?
I know, I know, ewww, New 52. But I read a few issues of GL today and so far I’m liking it. The dynamic between Hal and Sinestro is pretty funny and I just love how sassy he is in this issue.
The GL fandom is mostly pretty chill about the new 52 tho, because it is in case of Green Lantern a direct continuation of the preboot stuff.
The only bigger changes are Guy Gardner’s origin being simplified (which is understandable because it used to be quite complicated - not that you shouldn’t check out the old stuff if you get the chance, but the new origin isn’t horrible) and quite a bit of stuff about Kyle Rayner (and yeah, those changes aren’t good).
And Simon Baz was introduced and apparently some people have a beef with that, but there’s not many of them on Tumblr.
But anyway, when it comes to Hal and Sinestro it’s the usual and no one’s going to jump on you because of liking them in the new 52 (lol if anything there are Hal’s haters who will jump on you for liking him at all… but that’s a different story :P). Hal wasn’t written too well in the Justice League issues he appeared in (but who was? Johns can’t write a team book to save his life) but he’s ok in Green Lantern.
And actually when it comes to Hal all the bigger changes to his characterization happened in the past. Some of them along the years as a slow process and some of them at particular points (especially his resurrection changed a lot of things about his past and relationships and if anything that pisses people off more than the reboot ever could.)
Same goes for Sinestro who used to be much more of a cheesy character and mustache twirling over the top villain in the past and his most modern incarnation basically counts from the moment Hal got resurrected. He’s the character Johns has been handling the best (for the most part) imho.
