Batgirl.
Tried a two-toned look for her. Started to think that showing all that armor ‘plating’ would lead to martial-artist/killers/baddies to SEEK out weak areas in them and exploit them. So less obvious plating, more sleek-ish. No yellow boots, don’t know why, but seemed right at this moment.
Much better than the current nightmare with bats EVERYWHERE IN CASE WE DIDN’T KNOW IT’S BATGIRL.
I’m pretty sure I’m pleased with this, might change my mind tomorrow though. Vintage shoujo Batgirl! Hooray! Oh my goodness it is CRAZY how much better this looks than the version I started in August (less than half a year, progress is awesome). This will be available as a print at Boston Comic Con!

Wow, beautiful art, AND a nice simple costume design!
I really would not mind her wearing this in the ongoing (maybe with some more armoury padding) because the current costume is waaay to busy. It’s also a pain to draw for the artists consistently so the only times it looked really good was on the Hughes’ and Lau covers.
Back to the art - it’s gorgeous. She looks very light and happy, like she’s actually soaring.

Great design. So much better than the New 52 “how many bats can we fit on one costume” mess. Also loving the face, hair and freckles. The lighting looks really neat too.
Just a fangirl, mostly doing reblogs of stuff I like. What you'll see here: manga and anime (especially Gintama and Bleach), American superheroes (for now mostly Green Lantern and the Batfam, and with a heavy bias towards Jason Todd, I mostly post DC stuff but I am fond also of Captain America, Bucky, Natasha and co, and I recently fell in love with the Hawkeyes), Indian cinema, figure skating, computer games, a few choice shows (SPN is my current love), a few celebs (Lee Pace, Jim Sturgess, Bruce Campbell), some randomness.
